Loading... Please wait...This unique mold will make 12 5 kt diamonds that are approx 12mm or just under 1/2". Perfect for isomalt and chocolate.
Heat the isomalt to 300-325 degrees and slowly pour isomalt into the trough.
Start pouring on one end and when the cavity is full, move to the next.
Keep away atleast 1/4" away from the hole you are filling and let the isomalt naturally fall into the cavity.
Let cool and demold carefully by starting at one end and gently working out the new diamond that is connected to the stick that the trough made.
Don't worry about breaking the stick you are going to remelt it anyways.
When all pcs are demolded use a pair of scissors or small wirecutters to detach the diamond from the stick.
This mold does take practice but it does work well to make a diamond with a fully faceted top not rounded over like most of the molds on the market.
This mold is easy to use but care should always be taken when using isomalt.
Follow all isomalt directions carefully.
Wash mold thoroughly before use.
